Hello and Welcome!

11.15.07
I decided to change my date format to coincide with the side of the ocean I happen to live on.

The big news is that I finally have a full-time, tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Interior Design at East Carolina University. I am MIGHTY GRATEFUL for that good fortune!

Updates to check out are Folia 3, and a revised CV. Enjoy!

Hello. Back again with more fun and new work. Updates include new images in Folia, an installation image of my Thesis Show, and more info on my CV.

My friend Nancy Strube was kind enough to put me up (and put up with me) during the Fall. Though still in Richmond, I've moved, and so have added photos of the new place at my erstwhile blog.

I've been interviewing for teaching jobs (again!), and hope to have something for this coming Fall.

Though one may have thought this was one of those websites that sits idle and mysterious for years, sphinx-like in its silent tenacity, I'm back to prove otherwise. I've added more links, as my friends have created websites - check out the Artists I Like. And at long last, there is Video! No more worrying about what to do on those rainy weekends. I plan to update the blog ... any time now. I'll send out an announcement.

It's time for an update. I've added a Links page, and a link to my MFA Thesis, as well as an update to my CV. And now there really is an E-mail link! With any luck, it's all working properly.

I graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from VCU in May. It was a big relief to graduate. Now of course comes the job search.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my new outpost on the Web.

My previous website was launched in 1999, and was designed by Scott Holman.  Unfortunately I did not know how to update that site, so it languished for several years.  Finally I have learned some basic Dreamweaver; I hope the results are easy to use and will encourage you to visit often.

I am entering my last semester (I hope) in the MFA program in Photography at Virginia Commonwealth University.  Though going back to school in middle age is challenging, I have learned and experienced more than I could have imagined.  I’m hoping to teach when I graduate – contact me if you have a job!!
